Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
Jan 2025
At Gemas, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all community members, including children. We do not allow content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or fictional. This includes but is not limited to visual depictions, shared links, media, text, or illustrations of sexually explicit conduct involving a child. Uploading, storing, producing, sharing, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. This policy applies even if the intent is to express outrage or raise awareness about such issues.
We understand that users might share aspects of their personal lives, including family and children, when creating or recommending profiles. Any discussions or images involving children must remain appropriate, relevant, and lawful. If you choose to include photos of children on your profile, they must be fully clothed and cannot appear alone in the image. For instance, photos from your childhood may be shared as long as they comply with this policy.
We strictly prohibit profile photos of children, including babies and toddlers, where genitalia or buttocks are visible, even if covered or partially covered by emojis.
Violations of this policy will result in immediate removal from Gemas and a report to the relevant authorities. In compliance with U.S. law, any apparent child sexual exploitation, grooming, or abuse reported to us will be forwarded to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC may share this information with appropriate local and global law enforcement agencies.
If you believe action taken against your account or content was a mistake, you can contact us here. For more details about how we enforce our guidelines, visit community rules.
